I confess; I eat a half-cup of ice cream. I'll even split an ice cream sandwich in two and tossed half of it back in the freezer.
I programmed myself on a net-calorie system with weight loss as the reward. If I'm going to have to walk or run another mile or more to hit my calorie target, my brain says "screw that" and makes me toss the sweets back.
I like walking or running 3-4 miles, but 5-6 not so much right now.
